Excelsior Hotel New York

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of our room at the Excelsior. The comfortable beds and functional bathroom made our stay enjoyable. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to Central Park and explore the neighborhood. Despite being in a bustling area, our room was surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful night's sleep.

The hotel is in a great location, right in between two different subway lines, making it really convenient to explore the city. It's also within walking distance to Central Park, which is perfect for some outdoor relaxation. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The rooms are in good condition and have a nice view of the grounds of the museum of natural history.

All was perfect, no complaints whatsoever.

For our recent trip to the Big Apple, Excelsior was the perfect choice. We stayed for a week and the location couldn't have been better. Within walking distance, we found ourselves at museums, Lincoln Center, and a wide selection of restaurants on the West Side. The room on the 14th floor offered a spacious and comfortable stay, with a stunning view of the museum and the New York skyline. Housekeeping was efficient, and any issues, like a problem with the safe, were quickly resolved.

We highly recommend this hotel.

The weather was fine, had wonderful stay for our visit. We stayed in the a double room, walking distance to 79th Street metro station, just 10 minutes on foot.

Loved the hotel, it is stunningly beautiful and fairly clean, has unbeatable location that near the museum. The rooms were with great sound proofing. Irish bar was nice.

The Excelsior Hotel in New York is in a prime location near Central Park and great coffee stands. The hotel offers fast and affordable WiFi and spacious rooms with beautiful views. The Upper West Side neighborhood is filled with wonderful restaurants and easy transportation options. The hotel also provides a kitchen area, making it convenient for longer stays. Additionally, the hotel offers late check-out and luggage storage services, as well as a complimentary newspaper every morning.

Felt safe and secure, no complaints.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, it was close to key attractions and conveniently located near public transportation. the facilities were beautiful, the hotel had clearly put effort into updating and maintaining its interior. One of the best aspects of my stay was the staff, they were extremely helpful and friendly.

One thing I didn't like was that there was no morning coffee in the room, you had to either go to the buffet or leave the hotel to get coffee. Another downside was the lack of information provided at check-in, the receptionist didn't give any details about the amenities or what the hotel had to offer.

Staff was terrific, room was quiet and we loved stunning location. Great food for the continental breakfast. An individual safe, pay television and ironing facilities in the room and the exceptionally comfortable bed.

The hotel is really good value for money. The prices for the rooms are reasonable, especially considering the location in between two different subway lines and near Central Park. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms, like the comfortable beds and nice views, make for a pleasant stay. Additionally, the breakfast is available for decent prices, which is a bonus.

Amazing location close to Natural History Museum and Central Park. Our room was comfortable and spacious, perfect for a family of three. We appreciated the K Cup coffee maker in the lobby. we had a great stay at Excelsior. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

I had a great stay at this hotel in a safe location on Broadway. The staff was professional and polite, and the room was clean and cozy. The hotel facilities, including the elevator and discounted parking in a nearby garage, were convenient. The hotel's proximity to the Natural History Museum and a subway station was excellent.

We found the ideal hotel location: both near the subway and Central Park. And we had a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyscrapers!

Elevator a little long

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with close proximity to Central Park and the Natural History Museum. It was also conveniently located near multiple subway routes, making it easy to navigate the city. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. the restaurant connected to the hotel served delicious food and drinks, and there was a Starbucks nearby for a quick caffeine fix.

The bed was on the harder side, which may not be comfortable for everyone. the cleaning staff could be a bit noisy in the mornings, which could be disruptive to guests who wanted to sleep in.

Great location near Central Park. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Convenient access to subway and bus. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. Lovely neighborhood with a peaceful atmosphere. Close proximity to the Museum of Natural History. Comfortable bed for a good night's sleep.

The person who attended to us at check-in was not kind and did not help us with a request we made. The carpet in the corridor smelled bad. Air conditioners require maintenance.

The hotel's location was great, positioned conveniently between two subway lines and close to the entrance of Central Park. The room was equipped with modern conveniences, and the bathroom was clean. The staff provided decent service and the view was pleasant.

Great location near Central Park and Museum, 2 laundromats & many food options. Door staff were helpful and fun to talk to. Comfortable suites with excellent housekeeping. Buffet breakfast had hot & cold options in a charming vintage atmosphere. Good price for the location.

Everything went well.

It was a really great experience, I loved location and food. Rooms with great sound proofing, a nice view and sofa bed. That was attractive hotel set in wonderful area, short walk to Central Park, the Museum.

The hotel was charming old, had absolutely superb views and upscale location just next door to subway station. The a double room was delightful, included a hairdryer, a shower cap and towels. Bed was comfortable, staff was amazing. Great service, I loved it too. Don't forget to explore Manhattan district.
